Application
You can sign up by submitting your application at www.netzerostartup.sg/apply-now/. Click “Accept the Challenge” and follow the instructions. Choose from one of the three challenge themes (Renewable Energy, Urban Energy Efficiency, Low Carbon Solutions) and click “Apply Now”. You will be required to submit a pitch deck as part of the application. Please refer to www.netzerostartup.sg/program-timeline/ for the full list of materials required for submission.
You will receive an email confirmation upon successful registration. If you do not receive any confirmation within 2-3 working days, please reach out to admin@netzerostartup.sg.
The template provided in the application form acts as a reference for the contents in your submission. You are not required to adhere to it. Kindly ensure that your pitch deck is capped at 20 slides and 10MB file size for submission. Prior to submission, please ensure that you have previewed your project and the contents are displayed correctly.
The deadline for application is 31 January 2022, 23:59 SGT (GMT+8).
A single solution can only be submitted once under a relevant Challenge Theme. No multiple entries are allowed for the same solution.
You are free to submit up to 1 application per Challenge Theme, provided that you have multiple solutions to address each of the Challenge Theme. Please check here for the Challenge Themes. However, it’s advisable that you consider the resources and the ability to undertake multiple commercialization projects.
Shortlisting
All submissions will be assessed based on the following criteria: (a) Novelty of the solution; (b) Commercial and Technical feasibility of the solution; (c) Relevance of the solution to address the challenge themes; and (d) Company’s expertise and track record.
The submission will be jointly reviewed by Envision Digital, Energy Market Authority (EMA) and any other partner organisations deemed relevant by the Organisers.
The shortlisted companies will be notified via email in early-April, 2022.
Grant Application
All submissions will be assessed based on the following criteria: (a) Novelty of the proposal; (b) Commercial and Technical feasibility of the proposal; (c) Economic benefits to Singapore in terms of capability and manpower development; and (d) Project team’s expertise and track record.
Shortlisted companies will have the opportunity to apply for R&D funding by submitting the grant application issued by EMA to further develop their solutions. You will also be mentored by Envision Digital to refine your proposal. More information will be provided in due course.
All submissions will be assessed based on the following criteria: (a) Novelty of the proposal; (b) Commercial viability of the proposal; (c) Economic benefits to Singapore in terms of capability and manpower development; and (d) Project team’s expertise and track record.
Awarded companies will be notified via email by end-October, 2022.
